军医大学开学典礼上，一批来自五湖四海的优秀青年男女聚集在一ddd。将门虎女肖虹（颜丙燕 饰）有一种天生的优越感，开车来报到的黎明（田鹏 饰）受到队长黄大鹏（杨宝光 饰）的训斥，而出身高干家庭的江男（杨圣文 饰）则给人心直口、波澜不惊的感觉。五年的学员生活开始了，要强的肖虹因 嫉妒处处比自己强的司琪（刘威葳 饰），耍小聪明使其受了处分。因一封告状信，司琪失去了出国的机会，赵志伟（罗钢 饰）误为信是肖虹所写，于是当众斥责，肖虹愤然离校。当江男得知自己患血癌吋，内心的强大最终使她从绝望中走了出来，同学们纷纷到医院献血抢救战友。临近毕业，学员们积极筹备野战救护演习，气若游丝的江男告诉肖虹，她也想参加，她想把生命的最后时刻留在演习场上……
